THE ENTITY Data: the platform, as an API

For two years THE ENTITY has done one thing: map the AI build-out from the supply chain up — every part, the companies that make or depend on it, the physical constraints that decide who profits when something runs short, and where the tracked-elite money is quietly moving. All of that lived inside the product. Now it is an API you can build on.

Four datasets, one envelope

THE ENTITY Data exposes the four datasets that power the platform. The graph is the causal value chain: nodes, typed relations, company edges, facilities and chokepoints. The engine is the computed record: the constraint nowcast, the seeded Monte-Carlo forecast, the min-cut, and the daily conviction and node-score history. Smart money is the tracked-elite 13F panel: the roster, the consensus, the archive tape, the clone book and per-company holder rosters. Feeds are the market microstructure and cited filings: insider trades and positions, ownership events, short interest and volume, and verbatim chain mentions from earnings calls. Every endpoint returns the same stable JSON envelope, and every number carries an honest date — the data’s own as_of, separate from when we detected it, never conflated.

Four ways in, one key

Mint one entk_live_ key and reach the data however you work. There is a REST API over roughly thirty read endpoints — filter, sort, pick fields, and full-text search across the graph. There is an MCP server, so an AI assistant can query the graph, engine and smart money as native tools. There is =ENTITY() in Google Sheets and a Power Query for Excel, for the spreadsheet crowd. And there is bulk CSV/NDJSON export, to load a whole collection into a warehouse. Same key, same data, four surfaces.

Built for AI agents

The fastest-growing way people reach data is no longer a person typing a query — it is an agent. THE ENTITY Data ships an MCP server so Claude, Cursor or your own agent can call the graph, smart money and engine directly, authenticated by the user’s key, read-only, with the same honesty labels on every result. If you are building an agent that reasons about the AI supply chain, this is the tool it should hold.

Four things to build in an afternoon

A supply-chain risk dashboard — join the structural chokepoints, the live tightness index and where the tracked elite are crowding. An AI agent that answers supply-chain questions from live data over MCP. A model that pulls 13F consensus and any fund’s archived book straight into a notebook. Or a one-call screener for companies the tracked elite are accumulating that the engine also backs. Each is a few calls; the recipes are on the developer page.

Honest by construction

The API keeps the platform’s discipline. Everything is read-only — no writes, no trades. Counts are of the tracked panel, not institutions at large, and labeled as such. Archive-basis reads are marked archive, never “live.” Degraded reads say so rather than returning a confident empty. It is research infrastructure, not advice.

Read the docs, see the recipes and mint a key at the developer page. Access is a standalone add-on — anyone on any plan can buy it, tiered by volume.
