Daeduck Electronics makes package substrates — the finely layered boards that sit directly beneath a chip and fan its dense connections out to the wider system board. It produces FC-BGA and FC-CSP substrates for logic and networking chips as well as memory substrates, and is expanding its FC-BGA capacity to meet server and AI demand. In the model it sits in the packaging-adjacent part of the chips layer, as a producer of the ABF substrates that advanced accelerators cannot ship without.

The hook is scarcity of capability. High-layer FC-BGA substrates built on Ajinomoto build-up film are difficult to manufacture at yield, and only a small club of Korean, Japanese and Taiwanese makers can do it. That kept substrate a bottleneck for AI and server silicon. Daeduck's exposure runs both ways — its memory-substrate work ties it to the DRAM and HBM cycle, while its FC-BGA expansion ties it to accelerator and server processors.
